This show house event, like the rest of the world, was affected by September 11-the preview party was just two days later and the immensity of what had happened was still sinking in. The house was constructed in four or five sections over a period of 250 years. At one time it was one of Howard County ‘s finest farms. Today is stands, restored and refurbished, as the centerpiece of a business development. The show house was held from September 15 to October 14. The chairman was Rick Weinkam. About 6000 people attended.
