Next, provide a description of your proposed design for each room. You must choose three rooms, indicating a first choice, second and third. List the room number and room name. You should be prepared to describe your design concept, a color scheme, specific furniture you are considering and a description of your vision. If you do not submit three choices, you will not be eligible for participation. Each description must be a minimum of 120 words.
Proposals will be reviewed by our Design Committee. After selections are made designers will be notified and given two weeks to submit a design board (specifications for the design board are outlined in your Designer Packet).

Room 1 Rm #3 Living Room
A softer color palette rug and sophisticated yet intimate Living Room with antiques from the house and from a shop I know, or perhaps from an Ellicott City vendor, including one of a kind accent pieces, end tables & console table behind sofa, 2 lounge type chairs & 2-4 side chairs, or a bench @ window (there is a large low dark bench/ table? upstairs if not needed in the hall there?) or perhaps a game table by windows. Soft, Sheer Window treatment. Regional Art, or pieces from the house if available. 1920's - 30's style upholstered scoop sides Lux single bench seat cushion 3 back pillows & throw pillows sofa 82" L x 44"D Currently in chocolate velvet. May have sofa slipcovered in a beautiful Historic reproduction print to enliven the room for Spring! May want to utilize round wood coffee table that was in Parlor during walk thru if avail? Would like to utilize Grandmother Clock from upstairs hall into side Niche to Left of fireplace if pedestal not there. Question: Would it be possible to brighten up paint color and add a pearlescent sheen or do a pale blue on L Rm Ceiling?
